Anna Paula Pawlicka Maule, also known as Ania, was born in São Carlos, Brazil. Let’s not forget that even tough she was born in South America her mother, Agnieszka Pawlicka Maule, is from Poland and raised Ania to be fluent in Polish. Cassio Maule is Ania’s father, he is Brazilian with Italian descendants. What a mixture of cultures!

One of Ania’s favorite sports growing up was horse jumping. She even participated in some competitions. Now, as many of you know she only talks about CrossFit.

Ania has lived in many countries including Malaysia, Brazil, Poland, and now she is based in the United State with her better half and close family.

Most of her time, Ania performs the craft of Software Engineering by building exciting tools for millions of customers with her team.

If you haven’t tried Ania’s food, you are definitely missing out. She will win your heart through your stomach!

Kasper Sławomir Standio is a true Pole, minus his last name. Kasper was born and raised in Wrocław, Poland. His parents, Magdalena and Sławomir Standio raised Kasper with the most incredible values and taught him the art of music.

Kasper played the violin since he was 5 years old, once he graduate from the school of music at the age 18 he found a new love for music through the ukulele.

When it comes to the performing arts, Kasper didn’t stop at music performance. He was an actor too, Kasper entertained the Polish audience through commercials and small roles at major Polish sitcoms.

The affection for the arts remains until today at Kasper’s heart, but he was abducted by the exact sciences when pursuing a degree in Mechatronics.

When it comes to living abroad, Kasper is not too shabby either. He lived in United Kingdom, where he became a master of his craft, followed by his first job in the automotive industry in Germany.

Kasper was then drawn to Mexico in a search for a Latino love. They sent him to United State instead.

In 2018, Ania and Kasper met in a modern way with a right swipe followed by a match - in other words, they met through a dating app.


Their first date was in a brewery in Ann Arbor. Kasper was impressed how fluently Ania speaks Polish, not so much with her writing. They then went on couple more dates as friends in the next following weeks, such as a Brazilian BBQ Party, birthday party, trip to Muskegon, Eastern at Ania’s parents house, and a couple more until Kasper popped the question if she wanted to be his girlfriend.


Ania was a bit confused, she had just met Kasper a couple weeks ago and he already wanted something serious… She decided to take a chance on him!


The following year, they were living together. Meanwhile, they joined a Capoeira class, Ania introduced Kasper to the national parks, and Kasper full field one of his dreams - to visit Hawaii.


Ania could not shut down her brain during the trip to Hawaii, and was like “Kasper, we are paying too much money for rent… We should buy a house, mortgage will be more affordable and our rent contract is due in 2 months!”. Kasper didn’t want to think about grown up stuff during vacation - good for him… But Ania was too determined, 2 weeks after their rent contract ended Ania had purchased a house, Kasper was too busy being in a COVID lockdown in Poland. Kasper is still not sure he co-owns the house Ania purchased while Kasper was abroad…
